Despite these, recent controversies and protests have impacted Indian wrestling. Only one male and five wrestlers are currently part of India's Olympic team. National camps and domestic were suspended, creating uncertainty. However, the United World Wrestling (UWW lifting the suspension has brought some relief.

Reetika Hooda (Women's 76kg)
