Three Indian Women Wrestlers Secure Spots in World Championship Finals
Young Indian women wrestlers Aditi Kumari, Neha, and Pulkit showcased their skills at the Under-17 World Championships on Wednesday. They all advanced to the finals in their respective weight categories.

Aditi Kumari had an impressive run in the 43kg category. She defeated Ukraine's Karolina Shperyk 10-0 and Egypt's Marriem Mohamed Abdelaal 4-2. In the semifinals, she continued her winning streak with an 8-2 victory against Aleksandra Berezovskaia. Aditi will now face Maria Louiza Gkika from Greece in the final.
Neha's Journey in the 57kg Category
Neha reached the semifinals in the 57kg category without conceding a point. She pinned Greece's Mairi Mani and won by technical superiority against Georgia's Miranda Kapanadze. In the semifinals, she defeated Kazakhstan's Anna Stratan 8-4. Neha will compete against Japan's So Tsuitsui in the final.
Pulkit also had a dominant performance in the 65kg category. She won by fall against China's Ling Cai and secured a 9-0 victory over Juliana Catanzaro. Pulkit then blanked Egypt's Maram Ibrahim Aly 3-0 to reach the gold-medal bout. She will face Daria Frolova on Thursday.
Ronak and Sainath Pardhi Secure Bronze Medals
In the Greco-Roman bronze medal play-off, Ronak, ranked second in the world, defeated Turkey's Emrullah Capkan 6-1 to win India's first medal of the championship on Tuesday night. Ronak had previously lost to Hungary's Zoltan Czako in the semifinals, who went on to win silver. The gold was claimed by Ukraine's Ivan Yankovskyi, who beat Czako by technical superiority.
Sainath Pardhi added another bronze to India's tally by defeating Kazakhstan's Mussan Yerassyl in the 51kg bronze play-off after winning his repechage round.
The young wrestlers' performances have been commendable, showcasing their potential on an international stage. Their achievements highlight India's growing prowess in wrestling at youth levels.
