In the second half, the City continued to hit the ball hard at the opponent's post and finally succeeded in the 62nd minute. Thanks to Bernardo Silva's left-footed strike which leveled the scores between Manchester City and Luton Town. But it was Jack Grealish who powered the side to emerge victorious. He marked the second goal (64') for the City minutes after the first successful strike to secure the winning lead.

After beating Luton Town, Manchester City's Jack Grealish told Sky Sports, "I think a lot of people like to talk about City and go on like it's a big crisis, in reality, we've played very good teams." "We knew we had to keep calm today and buzzing to get back to winning ways," he added.

Before the match, while answering Haaland's absence from the squad, Guardiola said "he is out due to a bone stress reaction in his feet. After the last game against Aston Villa, he was like this and so he cannot play."
