Cristiano Ronaldo's Big Statement On Retirement
Few footballers have had a career as illustrious as Cristiano Ronaldo. From humble beginnings in Madeira, his journey has taken him across the globe. Now it seems his career might conclude in Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by the Al-Nassr striker himself. Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, Ronaldo has netted 61 goals and provided 16 assists in 67 games.
"I don't know if I will retire soon, in two or three years but probably I will retire at Al Nassr. I'm very happy at this club, and I feel good in this country too, I love playing in Saudi Arabia. I want to continue," Ronaldo told Portuguese media.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Remarkable Career
Ronaldo's most prolific period was with Real Madrid, where he became an all-time great. In 438 appearances for the Spanish giants, he scored an incredible 450 goals. Additionally, he holds the record for being the top international scorer of all time.
The Portuguese captain has made it clear that he does not want a farewell tour with his national team. "When I leave the national team, I won't tell anyone beforehand and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a well-thought-out one. Right now, what I want most is to help the national team in its upcoming matches. We have the Nations League coming up soon and I would really like to play there," he said.
Future Plans Beyond Football
While many former players transition into coaching roles after retirement-Pep Guardiola being a prime example-Ronaldo has dismissed any such plans for himself. "In my mind, at the moment, it is not about being a first team coach, or a coach of any team. I don't see my future being that way. I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only god knows what the future holds," concluded Ronaldo.
The trend of ex-players becoming coaches has grown significantly in recent years. Xabi Alonso and Mikel Arteta are notable examples of this shift from playing to managing teams successfully.
Despite his age of 39 years, Ronaldo continues to perform at an elite level and remains focused on contributing to both his club and national team. His dedication and passion for football are evident as he looks forward to upcoming challenges with enthusiasm.
Ronaldo's journey from Madeira's streets to global stardom is nothing short of extraordinary. As he contemplates retirement at Al-Nassr, fans worldwide eagerly watch every move of this football legend.
