World Cup 2023 Closing Ceremony: Here Are Full Details Of Celebration
The curtains to the World Cup 2023 cricket will be dropped with the grandest closing ceremony in the history of the sport. The event is set to take place on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The BCCI is coming up with a 4-part ceremony which begins with a salute from the skies by the Indian Airforce on Sunday at 12.30 pm, 90 minutes before the match.

The Indian cricket board has also planned to honour the earlier World Cup-winning captains including Clive Lloyd (West Indies), Kapil Dev (India), Allan Border (Australia), Steve Waugh (Australia), Ricky Ponting (Australia), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India) and Eoin Morgan (England).
Music director Pritam will entertain the audience with his entourage of dancers.

Open with a salute in the sky at 12.30 am for 10 minutes.

The Indian Air Force's aerobatic team Surya Kiran will enthral people for 10 minutes before the start of the final match. Led by flight commander & deputy team leader wing commander Sidesh Kartik, the Surya Kiran aerobatic team usually comprises nine aircraft and has performed numerous air shows in the country.
Details of the air show:

- There is no fee towards the airshow.
- Draft letter from BCCI required to submit to Ministry of Defence for approvals.
- There will be 9 Hawks from the Suryakiran acrobatic team.
- The flights will take off from Ahmedabad airport and will do a vertical airshow above Narendra Modi Stadium.
Half Time Performance at 5.30 pm for 15 minutes.

Parade of Champions
World Cup-winning captains are honoured in the biggest-ever arena in cricket at the biggest-ever final the world has witnessed. The unique assembly of all World Cup winning captains as they are honoured by BCCI in front of a packed Narendra Modi stadium.
20 sec-reel highlights of their winning moment along with the ever-changing ICC Men's CWC Trophy play out on the big screen as every Champion walks on the FOP. The captains recount their World Cup triumph in conversation with a designated BCCI/Star anchor.

The BCCI officials will felicitate them with a special blazer representing the ICC CWC 23.
Jashn Jashn rocks the stadium globally and India's renowned music composer Pritam performs live. The celebrations heat up with Pritam and his entourage of 500+ dancers.
After a medley of hits - the finale of Dil Jashn Bole will rock the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Pritam and the singer bring alive their performance on customised floats as they take a 360 lap around the FOP giving the audience an immersive experience.
500 dancers create formations on the FOP to create a visual delight.

Second Drinks Break at 8.30 pm for 90 seconds
Witness a spectacle of a unique visual countdown where the entire roof of the stadium is used as a canvas along with internationally programmed lights and a laser show.
