Jersey No. 18. IPL season 18. And an 18-year-long wait. Are stars aligning in favour of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)? Will the title drought for Bangalore franchise and fans end this year? Every RCB fan is praying for Tuesday's IPL 2025 finals.

Virat Kohli, the only player who has been with RCB since the beginning of IPL, is eager to lift the cup. But his fans have another big question in mind. Will Virat Kohli leave Royal Challengers Bengaluru, if RCB wins IPL 2025?

The star cricketer, who hails from Delhi, has a strong fan base across the country, and every cricket fan wants Virat Kohli to be in their team, especially the Delhi fans. They want Virat Kohli to play for the home team. Several times in past, many fans and cricket experts suggested Virat Kohli to switch team, as he performed well every season, but didn't get enough support from teammates.

In 18 IPL editions, RCB qualified for the IPL Playoffs 10 times and made it to the finals thrice, but every time it faced defeat.

But this time, we saw a new energy in the side. Everyone was backing each other. From batters to bowlers to fielders, everyone contributed in team's consecutive victories. RCB finished the league stage at top position and outclassed Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 to secure a seat for the finals.

It looked like Virat Kohli is leading team, instead of Rajat Patidar.

On the other side, Shreyas Iyer-led team bounced back strongly and crushed Mumbai Indians' challenge in Qualifier 2.

Both teams have seen many ups and downs throughout their IPL journey, and this time, we will have a new IPL winner. The summit clash will take place at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi stadium on June 3. The match will start at 7:30 pm, and the toss will be performed 30 minutes before the game.

It will be interesting to see whether Virat Kohli stays at RCB only, or opts to play for some other team next season.
