WPL 2026 Auction Live Streaming: The Women's Premier League 2026 auction is all set for November 27 in New Delhi, beginning at 3:30 PM. Broadcasters and streaming platforms have lined up their coverage, giving fans across the country convenient ways to tune in. The pre-auction shows will start at 2:30 PM, building anticipation before the bidding officially begins.

Live Telecast and Streaming Details

WPL followers can catch the auction live on the Star Sports Network, which will broadcast the event across its sports channels. For viewers who prefer online streaming, the auction will be available on the JioHotstar website and mobile application.

The five participating franchises have already released their retention lists earlier on November 6, with only 16 players retained collectively. This sets the stage for an intense bidding day, especially with the size of the auction pool.

Players in the Auction Pool

A total of 277 cricketers will go under the hammer this year. Out of them, 194 are Indian players, consisting of 52 capped and 142 uncapped talents. Despite the strong pool, only 50 spots remain open for Indian players, making this auction even more competitive.

On the overseas front, 66 players have registered. They will be competing for just 23 available slots, which adds an extra layer of intrigue as teams look to balance their squads strategically.

Participating Teams and Recent Performances

This year's auction will feature five teams: Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, Delhi Capitals Women, Mumbai Indians Women, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz Women.

Mumbai Indians Women enter the season riding on confidence after securing their second WPL title in 2025. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the side has set a benchmark for consistency and dominance.

Delhi Capitals Women, captained by Meg Lanning, have been one of the league's strongest performers. Although they have reached the final in all three seasons so far, they are yet to claim the trophy. This recurring near miss adds to their hunger to reshape their squad and aim for their first title.

The league's earlier seasons saw MI Women crowned champions in the inaugural 2023 edition, while RCB Women took home the 2024 title under Smriti Mandhana's leadership.
