A video of Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav's wife, Devisha Shetty, speaking in Tulu has gone viral.

The couple visited the Kapu Marigudi temple in Udupi district on Tuesday. After offering prayers, they spoke to the media.

While Suryakumar spoke in Hindi, Devisha impressed everyone by speaking in Tulu.

Suryakumar mentioned that his life improved significantly after visiting this temple and promised to return next year if he is not on tour.

Arriving in Mangalore on Monday, Yadav and Shetty celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary by cutting a cake at the airport. Keeping her promise, Devisha, along with Suryakumar, offered jasmine flower garlands to the deity Kapu Mariyamma and sought blessings for their family.

The temple officials briefed Yadav about the temple's rich history and the new Kapu Mariyamma temple project in Haveri district, which is nearing completion with significant progress on various structures.

After offering prayers to Goddess Mariamma at Hosa Marigudi, the couple inspected the ongoing construction of the new stone temple. During the visit, they donated gold for the golden throne and the stone pillars of the Mukha Mantapa.

The temple's chief priest, Vidwan KP Kumaraguru Tantri, and the head priest, VM Srinivas Tantri Kalya, along with Development Committee President K. Vasudev Shetty, honored the couple by presenting them with the goddess's prasad.

Kaup MLA and Temple's Development Committee Executive President Gurme Suresh Shetty, Honorary Presidents Ravi Sundar Shetty and Anil Ballal Kaup Beedu, General Secretary Ramesh Hegde Kalya, Administrative Officer Ravikiran, Financial Committee General Convener Uday Sundar Shetty, former President of the Management Committee Ratnakar Shetty Nadikere, Development Committee Vice Presidents Manohar S. Shetty and Madhav R. Palan, along with officials of various committees, prominent members, and devotees were present.
