IPL 2024: RCB's Virat Kohli Scores Powerful Ton, Completes 7500 Runs
IPL 2024: Virat Kohli, ace Indian batter and spine of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batting lineup, showed his class once again and struck a blitzkrieg hundred (113) against the Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur's Sawaiman Singh Stadium on Saturday. Virat, who is famous for making and breaking records in world cricket, took only 64 balls to complete his ton and powered his team (RCB) to pin a respectable total of 183 at the scoreboard.
Virat Kohli's powerful inning was studded with 12 boundaries and 4 towering sixers. With this entertaining inning, Virat Kohli completed his 8th century in the cash-rich league.

Today's powerful inning of 113 runs marked Virat Kohli's joint-highest in the Indian Premier League. Before Rajasthan, he scored 113 runs against Kings XI Punjab (Now Punjab Kings) in 2016, showcasing his dominance with the bat.
The other opener and skipper Faf du Plessis also played some good hands and gave a flying start to his team. RCB captain scored 44 runs complimenting Virat Kohli in the same fashion.
Virat Kohli also became the first player to notch 7500+ runs in the history of IPL. Also, this was the 28th occasion when Virat Kohli was involved in a 100-run partnership for RCB.
He has been in great form since the start of the IPL 2024 edition but failed to avoid RCB's 3 defeats in last 4 matches.
In reply, the Rajasthan Royals faced an early breakthrough. However, experienced English batter Jos Buttler and RR skipper Sanju Samson turned the match in favor of their side with quick half-centuries.
