Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Shed Tears Of Joy After RCB Defeats CSK To Qualify For IPL 2024 Playoffs

IPL 2024: After the Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a thumping victory over Chennai Super Kings in the crucial match to qualify for the IPL 2024 Playoffs, former RCB skipper and ace batter Virat Kohli, and his Anushka Sharma could not control their tears of joy.

The victory against the in-form yellow army was no less than climbing a mountain, but Virat Kohli and his team did it and marked a never forgetting 27 runs victory at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

Videos of Virat Kohli running around the park, hugging his teammates with tears of joy in his eyes created a buzz on the internet. Not just him, but even his wife Anushka Sharma, who was present at the stadium to cheer for RCB and Virat, got emotional.

RCB vs CSK:

It was a thriller between RCB and CSK as no had ever thought that a team that had lost 6 out of 7 matches and only 1% chance of qualifying for Playoffs at the start of the tournament, will turn the table around by bagging 6 back-to-back wins.

RCB was at the sixth position in the IPL points table and took a leapfrog over the Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings to book a berth in the top four.

With last night's victory over CSK, RCB equaled points (14) and qualified on the basis of Net Run Rate (NRR). They needed a victory with a margin of 18 runs and they defeated CSK by 27 runs.
