After the inning, former cricketer and commentator Sunil Gavaskar analysed Hardik's bowling calling it the "Worst kind of death bowling he has seen in a long time," underlining that even ordinary bowling under some ordinary captaincy would have restricted CSK to 185 and Hardik allowed a 200 plus score.
