Vinod Kambli Health Update: Ex-Mumbai Cricketer Looks Much Better In This Latest Video

A couple of days after a video showcasing former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli's deteriorating state of health went viral on the internet, the batting legend has shared an update on his health saying he is much better now. In the viral video, the 52-year-old former Mumbai cricketer was seen struggling to walk or even stand properly. Some locals helped him to safely cross the footpath.

Today, through a post on micro-blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, Vinod Kambli thanked people who helped him and gave a "thumbs up" stating he is absolutely fine now.

In the video post, Vinod Kambli said, "By the grace of God, I am fit and fine and surviving." He further added that he is now fit enough to go out on the cricket field and bat. The latter represented India in 117 international matches to notch over 3,561 runs.

The left-hander also scored over 10,000 runs in First Class cricket for Mumbai including his highest score of 262.

Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar played a lot of cricket together from school to state to national team. He was also Team India's member for the 1996 world cup, and in 2011, Kambli announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

Meanwhile, fans urged the master blaster to please take care of medical expenses of Vinod Kambli until he gets fine properly.

"Dear Sachin, Vinod Kambli really looks in bad shape and is in need of urgent medical help. I know you have done a lot for him but i will request you to keep your grievances aside and take up his guardianship till he gets better. Thanks 🙏," said a fan on Twitter.
