This Royal Challengers Bangalore Player Hits 137 Runs Off 62 Balls With 16 Sixes; Watch Video
New Zealand batter Finn Allen, who has been an important part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) since 2022, struck a blitzkrieg ton against Pakistan on Wednesday at the University Oval in Dunedin. Allen took only 26 balls to reach his fifty. The RCB cricketer scored 137 runs off only 62 balls studded with 5 boundaries and 16 towering sixes. Credited to Finn Allen's powerful hitting, the Kiwis marked a 3-0 lead in the five-match T20 series against Pakistan in a dominating manner.
RCB star is now New Zealand's highest scorer in T20 Internationals, surpassing Brendon McCullum's 58-ball 123 against Bangladesh at Pallekele in the 2012 T20 World Cup, as well as Suzie Bates' 66-ball 124 not out against South Africa at Taunton in 2018.

Finn Allen has now leveled the world record for Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai's record for most sixes in a T20I. Zazai struck 16 sixes against Ireland at Dehradun in 2018-19.
Overall in the Twenty20 format, Chris Gayle holds the record of hitting 18 sixes, followed by Punit Bisht with 17, and Graham Napier and Dasun Shanaka with 16 maximums on the third spot in an innings.
Finn Allen became the 14th player worldwide to score a century in a T20 solely through boundaries. His impressive total of 116 runs from boundaries now stands as the fifth-highest in history, following Zazai's 140 (11 fours, 16 sixes), Aaron Finch's 128 (11 fours, 14 sixes) and 124 (16 fours, 10 sixes), and Zeeshan Kukikhel's 118 (7 fours, 15 sixes).
With only a couple of months left before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans will expect Finn Allen to continue performing like this and power their side to clinch the title.
