The Indian Street Premier League T10 Cricket(ISPL): How To Register, Registration Fees, & More

In a nation where the love for cricket runs through the veins of every individual, especially among the younger generation, playing the sport becomes a rite of passage. It is a common sight to witness kids honing their cricketing skills on the streets, dreaming of one day playing in a grand stadium. Here's a groundbreaking opportunity that aims to transform those dreams into reality.

The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) T10 Cricket, a tennis ball tournament, is poised to become a platform for young cricketers to display their skills and move from local streets to the grandeur of the stadium. This endeavor has united cricketers and celebrities who are collaborating to inspire and support emerging talents throughout the country.

ISPL Cricket Event Launched

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar launched the ISPL on Tuesday. The Master Blaster went down the memory lane as he recalled his first ever tournament that he played in his life.

Tendulkar claimed that he had disappointed his friends with a golden duck in his first match. Well, the former cricketer claimed that he had attempted to justify his dismissal to his group of supporters, making excuses. Despite this, the same audience eagerly gathered for his second match. Unfortunately, to their dismay, he disappointed them once again, managing another first-ball zero.

In the third match, he did not invite his friends, but ended up scoring just one runs. "I made an excuse again and said, 'this ball was a little high, it flew away from there and it was the fault of the pitch and not mine'. But in the third match, I said I won't call them as I would be wasting their time. (I thought) I will go alone," PTI quoted the little master as saying.

He claimed that was when he understood the importance of scoring one run. "I went and scored one run. I remember (that) I played 5-6 balls and I got out on one run. But somewhere I was happy - I scored one run. I went back to Bandra from Shivaji Park and that bus journey was a pleasant bus journey because I had scored one run," he said.

"I realised the importance of a single run that is scored because later everyone used to tell us that one run can cost you, (that) either you can win or you can lose.

"But, it was such a big transformation. In the first two matches, I had two scores of zero and then scored one run and went home - that one run changed my mood," said Tendulkar.

The renowned batsman also stated that engaging in street cricket with a straight boundary back at his first residence in the urban area helped him in honing his distinctive straight shot, which was subsequently fine-tuned by his mentor, Ramakant Achrekar.
