T20 World 2024: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Other Team India Members Land In Delhi; Will Meet PM Modi Today
After winning the World, Rohit Sharma and men arrived in Delhi Thursday early morning. Team India defeated South Africa in a nail-biting final by 7 runs played at Barbados' Kensington Oval. But soon after the finals, the weather in Barbados turned adverse as hurricane Beryl hit the island nation.
To avoid accidents and mishappenings, local authorities snapped air traffic shutting its airports, which resulted in a delay in Team India's scheduled return.

Not just the players, all support staff, several BCCI officials including secretary Jay Shah, and Indian media personnel, who moved along the team to the USA and West Indies, were left standard for four days.
To bring them all home safely, the BCCI hired a special AirIndia charter plane, and after an eighteen-hour journey, the plane landed in Delhi.
Now, all players will rest for a couple of hour and then, they will have breakfast with PM Narendra Modi.
