Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir Meet King Charles III A Day After India vs England Lord's Test
A day after the enthralling India vs England Lord's Test, Indian skipper Shubman Gill met King Charles III. This meeting took place at St. James's Palace, following a dramatic conclusion to the Lord's Test.
During this visit, Captain Shubman Gill, Vice-Captain Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and head coach Gautam Gambhir were among those present at Clarence House Garden.
Indian players were introduced to King Charles III, who engaged in light-hearted conversations with the touring party members.

The team is currently in England for a five-match Test series, with England leading 2-1 after their 22-run victory in the second Test.
King Charles III Shares Thoughts
Shubman Gill shared that King Charles expressed his thoughts on Mohammed Siraj's unfortunate dismissal. "It was amazing to meet King Charles III and he was very kind and generous to call us," said Gill. "We had some really good conversations. King Charles III told us that the way our last batsman got out in the previous test match was quite unfortunate, the ball rolling on the stumps."

India faced a tough defeat against England due to a batting collapse while chasing 193 runs. On Monday, they were bowled out for 170 in their second innings. England's Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer delivered an impressive spell during the fifth day's morning session, quickly dismissing Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Washington Sundar.
India's Struggle Continues
A partnership between all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Reddy was forming when Chris Woakes struck just before lunch. This blow reduced India's hopes of a comeback as Reddy fell victim to Woakes' bowling, leaving India at 112/8 by the end of the first session.
In the second session, Jadeja found support from Jasprit Bumrah as they added 35 runs together. However, Bumrah's attempt at a big shot led to his dismissal for just 5 runs. Mohammed Siraj then joined Jadeja and held his ground while Jadeja fought hard for a half-century.
England Celebrates Victory
Despite their efforts, off-spinner Shoaib Bashir dashed India's hopes by bowling Siraj out in the third session. This triggered celebrations within the English camp as they secured another victory over India.
