Shreyas Iyer Wins ICC Award For His Valuable Contribution In Champions Trophy 2025

India's one of the finest batter, Shreyas Iyer has been named as ICC Player of the Month Award for March 2025. Shreyas Iyer batted beautifully in the middle order during the Champions Trophy 2025 and power team with valuable runs in crucial matches. Iyer notched 172 runs in 3 matches, including an important 79-run knock off 98 balls against strong New Zealand in the final league stage match.

Team India remained unbeaten in the Champions Trophy 2025.

In that match, India lost its top three batters cheaply, and when it looked like New Zealand will dominate Men in blue completely, Shreyas Iyer walked in with a sword-like bat and turned the tables in India's favour.

In the semi-final match against Australia, Shreyas Iyer played a 45-run inning that powered India enter the finals. Where, he again, played a splendid inning against New Zealand batters. He missed his half-century by inches as contributed 48 runs of 62 balls.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma also lauded Shreyas Iyer's contribution in helping team lift the Champions Trophy 2025 by calling him a 'silent hero', who fulfilled his duties perfectly.

Shreyas Iyer bashed spinner and pacers equally in the middle and death overs on a sluggish 22-yard track of Dubai International Stadium.
