Shoaib Akhtar's YouTube Channel Blocked In India

Almost every day, since the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India is slapping bans on Pakistan. Today, the Government of India ordered to ban 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, which were earning a hefty amount from Indian audience. Former cricketer and pace bowling legend, Shoaib Akhtar's YouTube channel "ShoaibAkhtar100MPH" has more than 3.82 million subscribers, and his channel will not be visible in India now.

The decision to boycott was made in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, and the Indian government does not want Pakistan to earn even a single penny with India's help.

Shoaib Akhtar has a huge fan base in India, which is bigger than in Pakistan, and people who like his cricket analysis. But now, there will be no more videos by him visible to the Indian audience.

Shoaib is not the only Pakistani cricketer whose account has been suspended. Former cricketers like Rashid Latif and Basit Ali too are facing the heat as their popular YouTube accounts are no more visible.

Though their names were not part of the official list, yet, visibility of Rashid Latif and Basit Ali's YouTube accounts in India has been restricted.

"On the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government of India has banned Pakistani YouTube channels for disseminating provocative and communally sensitive content, false and misleading narratives and misinformation against India, its Army and security agencies in the backdrop of the tragic Pahalgam terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir," an officials said.
