Rishabh Pant Misses Out On 100; KL Rahul Disappoints Again In India Vs New Zealand Bengaluru Test
Rishabh Pant delivered a remarkable performance in Bengaluru, scoring 99 runs in the first Test against New Zealand at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium on October 19. Despite missing out on a century by just one run, Pant's innings was crucial. His potential century would have surpassed MS Dhoni's record of six Test hundreds, making him the Indian wicket-keeper with the most Test centuries.
The partnership between Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan was pivotal for India. Their combined effort of 177 runs not only rescued the team but also placed them in a commanding position. Sarfaraz contributed significantly with a score of 150 before being dismissed. This partnership ensured that India had a strong chance to turn the game in their favour.

If Rishabh Pant had completed his century, the young left hander would have also climbed the ranks among all wicket-keepers globally, potentially sharing the fourth spot with cricket greats like Kumar Sangakkara and AB De Villiers.
KL Rahul Dissapoints Again:
On the other side, Team India fans again faced disappointment from talented batter KL Rahul, who threw his wicket after getting set. KL Rahul showed initial resilience but was dismissed for just 12 runs, adding to India's batting woes.
KL Rahul, who made a comeback to India's Test team after missing out England tour, failed in series against Bangladesh, and now is facing a hard time vs New Zealand.
