RCB In IPL 2024 Playoffs: It's a dream night for Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as they have qualified for IPL 2024 playoffs after defeating MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in M Chinaswamy in Bengaluru.

The Bengaluru team played superb all-round cricket in the crucial last game of the stage league. Batting first, RCB scored 218 runs. They needed to mark an 18 run win to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs as their NRR was less than the CSK, however, they restricted MS Dhoni's yellow army for only 191 runs, resulting in a 27-run win.

Leading the team from the front Faf Du Plessis played a fabulous inning of 54 runs studded with 3 sixes and 3 fours. His opening partner Virat Kohli also scored 47 runs, and their partnership kept a strong foundation for this memorable win.

Rajat Patidar (41) and Cameroon Green (38) also played powerful innings for RCB.

For CSK, Rachin Ravindra (61) and Ravindra Jadeja (42) showed some real good hands but failed to turn their strong innings into a match-winning knock.

At the start of IPL 2024, RCB won only one game out of first 8 games, but then a miracle happened and they won 6 back to back matches and took a leapfrog over Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings to book a berth for the IPL 2024 Playoffs.

At a time, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru was trailing at the last spot, they had only 1% chances of qualifying for the next round, but they traveled a really long way, turned the table around and did what no was expecting.
