RCB Get Green Signal to Return to Chinnaswamy Stadium Months After Victory Celebration Tragedy

According to media reports, the Karnataka government has given Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) the go-ahead to resume hosting cricket matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, marking a significant reversal of an earlier decision that had barred the venue following a tragic crowd incident.

The iconic Bengaluru stadium had been placed under restrictions after a massive stampede during RCB's IPL 2025 title victory celebrations. The event, meant to mark the franchise's long-awaited championship win, spiralled into chaos as thousands of fans converged on the area, overwhelming security arrangements.
