He expressed a deep sense of fulfillment in achieving the pinnacle of his T20I career with India's triumph in the T20 World Cup, thanking fans for their unwavering support and cherishing the memories created.

Jadeja, a stalwart in the Indian T20I team for many years, played a crucial all-round role in the 2024 edition of the tournament. Known for his dynamic performances, he played a decisive role with the bat in India's semi-final victory against England, scoring an unbeaten 17 runs off just 9 deliveries. Despite taking only one wicket in the tournament, Jadeja significantly contributed to the team's success with his economical bowling, maintaining an impressive economy rate of 7.57 runs per over.

During his illustrious T20I career spanning 74 matches, Jadeja amassed 515 runs in 41 innings, remaining unbeaten on 17 occasions while predominantly batting in the lower-middle order. However, Jadeja's return to T20Is in December the following year underscored the team management's confidence in his abilities, culminating in his participation in all matches during India's successful 2024 T20 World Cup campaign.
