Rahul Dravid Loses Cool At A Reporter; Here's What Happened During Ind vs Afg Pre Match Conference

Former cricketer and India head coach Rahul Dravid, who is famous for his calm and composed attitude, recently lost his cool, which was something strange for every cricket fan. During a press conference ahead of India vs Afghanistan match in T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 round, Rahul Dravid was visibly irked by some poor questions by a reporter.

The enthralling match will be held at the Kensington Oval Stadium in Barbados, and the reporter reminded Rahul Dravid of the 1997 tour, where Rahul Dravid and Team India did not perform up to the mark. The reporter underlined and reminded India coach of poor stats saying: "Rahul, you as a player, you have played here. Not the best memories of the 97 Test?"

To which, Dravid said "Geez, thanks a lot buddy! I have had some other decent memories here as well."

The reporter cross-questioned adding "That is actually my question. A chance for you to probably make new and much better memories tomorrow?"

Which made Dravid feel irritated. He said, "God man! I am not trying to make new anything man!"

For the unversed, on India's tour of West Indies in 1997, Rahul Dravid scored 78 and 2 in the Bridgetown test resulting in the team's defeat by 38 runs.

But this time, Rahul Dravid would be traveling to the Caribbean country as coach of the Indian team.

"I move on from things very quickly. That's one of my things. I don't look back on things. I try and look at what I am doing now, at the moment. I am not concerned about what happened in 97 or some other year," Rahul Dravid said.
