Anil Patel, the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) secretary, confirmed the venue change to Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, which is set to host three IPL games within eight days.

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will see action as it hosts the Punjab Kings versus Mumbai Indians match, among others. This adjustment showcases the IPL's flexibility in accommodating unforeseen changes without disrupting the tournament's schedule.

Despite the logistical challenges posed by airport closures, the league continues, with teams adapting to new travel plans. For instance, after their game in Dharamsala, both the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will have to embark on a road journey to Delhi due to the closure of nearby airports.
