PBKS vs DC IPL Match, Going On In Dharamshala, Called Off

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on ongoing at Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala stadium, has been called off due to security reasons. According to the reports, officials decided to call off the match after a blackout, tensions escalated between India and Pakistan.

A complete blackout has been forced in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and a few areas of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

PBKS vs DC:

PBKS won the toss and elected to bat first. In 10.1 overs, Punjab put 122 runs on the board after floodlights were switched off due to security reasons, and the game was called off.

According to the reports, Pakistan launched drone and missile attacks at Jammu and Kashmir's RS Pura, Akhnoor, Jammu city, and Punjab's Pathankot, which were foiled by Indian Defence System.

Air raid warning sirens were activated in Pathankot where the blackout was enforced around 8:30 pm.

Authorities have appealed to people to keep their lights switched off and stay at home. However, the district authorities said there was no need to panic.

PTI in its report has also claimed that the fans were asked to evacuate the stadium. Players and rest of the officials are also moving away from the stadium to a safer place.
