Pakistan's Ex-Cricketer Ramiz Raja Caught Laughing At Racist Comments Against Neena Gupta, Viv Richards

After Abdul Razzaq, yet another famous Pakistan cricketer is landed in a controversy. Former PCB chief Ramiz Raja has been caught laughing at a racial comment made against yesteryear actress Neena Gupta and cricket legend Vivian Richards.

On a cricket-based chat show on Suno News, one of the hosts in the show is seen passing a racist comment against Viv Richards.

When the female host asked whether the other woman followed cricket, she responded, "I do watch cricket matches, and my heart sank when Vivian Richards entered a relationship with Neena Gupta. I even penned a couplet back then: 'Jo ladkiyan khud ko kehti hain malika-e-aliya, Unko fir milta hai Mr Kaliya.' The lines roughly convey that the girls who proclaim themselves as queens eventually find themselves with black.

This clip has now gone viral as netizens slam the Pakistani show and Ramiz Raja.

"Now Ramiz will say... I didn't understand the joke, if I did I wouldn't have laughed...They think nobody notice the fake apology and excuses," one user commented.

"So everyone is calling out Razzak, Gul, and Afridi for that Aishwarya Rai saga, and that's a good thing, but nobody paid attention to this, this channel was making fun of Nina Gupta, and they were passing racist remarks on Sir @ivivianrichards," the second user slammed the incident.

The third user added, "Feeling sorry for @ivivianrichards given how much he has contributed to the PSL and the cricket of Pakistan at large. It's not a coincidence that Pakistanis a rogue country.🎃"

It comes at a time when Abdul Razzaq has triggered a controversy with his derogatory comments against Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter. At a recent press conference, he had said, I'm talking about their (PCB's) intention here. When I was playing, I knew that my captain, Younis Khan's intentions were good. I took confidence and courage from that, and thanks to Allah, I could deliver for Pakistan cricket."

He claimed, "Right now, a lot of talk here is surrounding the Pakistan team and the players' performances in the World Cup. I think we do not have the intention to polish and develop the players. If you think that I will get married to Aishwarya Rai and then have good and virtuous kids, then that can never happen. So you have to correct your intentions first." Meanwhile, other Pakistan cricketers including Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul were amusing themselves with his offensive words.

However, he apologised for his remarks.

Issuing a public apology, he said, "Yesterday, we were talking about cricket coaching and intentions. I had a slip of the tongue and mistakenly took Aishwarya Rai's name. I apologise to her personally. I did not intend to hurt anyone's sentiment,"
