Naman Awards 2025: Sachin Tendulkar Honoured With CK Nayudu Award - Here's The Complete List Of Winners

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the recipients of the Naman Awards for the 2023-24 season, honouring outstanding performances across various categories.

Sachin Gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar was bestowed with the prestigious Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. He has become the 31st cricketer to receive this honour. In his acceptance speech, Tendulkar expressed gratitude to the BCCI for their unwavering support and offered guidance to emerging cricketers, emphasizing the importance of focus and valuing one's cricketing journey.

In the men's category, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who came up with flying colours during the India's tour of Australia recently, was honoured with the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer, recognizing his exceptional contributions during the 2023-24 season. In the women's division, batter Smriti Mandhana received the Best International Cricketer award, acknowledging her stellar performances over the past year.

The BCCI also presented a Special Award to off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, acknowledging his significant contributions to Indian cricket. Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket in December 2024, concluding a distinguished career as India's second-highest wicket-taker across all formats.

Emerging talents were also recognized, with Sarfaraz Khan receiving the award for Best International Debut in the men's category, and Asha Sobhana honored in the women's category.
