In the match, the Delhi Capitals emerged victorious by 10 runs, thanks to a remarkable performance by Jake Fraser-McGurk and a dynamic pace attack led by Rasikh Dar Salam, Mukesh Kumar, and Khaleel Ahmed. Rasikh particularly shone for the home team, claiming 3 wickets for 34 runs, with Mukesh also securing a three-wicket haul. Despite efforts from Tilak Varma and skipper Hardik Pandya, who scored 63 and 46 runs respectively for the Mumbai Indians, the team fell short.

Mumbai's chase began aggressively with Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan unleashing a flurry of boundaries. In the second over, Khaleel Ahmed bore the brunt of their onslaught, conceding 14 runs, including three consecutive boundaries from Kishan.

Khaleel struck early for the Delhi Capitals, claiming the first wicket by dismissing Rohit Sharma for 8. Rohit attempted to launch the ball for a boundary but mistimed his shot, resulting in a straightforward catch for Shai Hope at mid-off.

In the fifth over, Mukesh Kumar made an impactful entry into the fray, snatching the crucial dismissal of Ishan Kishan for 20. Meanwhile, Khaleel secured his second wicket by removing the formidable Suryakumar Yadav for 26. Surya's well-placed shot towards mid-off seemed promising, but Lizaad Williams intervened with a superb catch.

Following a steady and aggressive partnership, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma propelled the innings forward. However, Rasikh Salam Dar of Delhi Capitals broke the partnership by dismissing Pandya for 46 runs. Tilak Verma, joined by Tim David, continued to maintain the momentum for MI. Despite conceding boundaries and sixes, Mukesh made a remarkable comeback, eventually dismissing David for 37.

In the final over, Mumbai's hopes dwindled as Tilak Varma was run out. Although Luke Wood and Piyush Chawla managed to hit a six and a four respectively, their efforts fell short in guiding the team to victory.
