"Meet Me Outside": Manoj Tiwary Says Gautam Gambhir Threatened Him During Ranji Trophy
Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary, who recently announced his retirement from all formats of the game, lashed out at former cricketers for creating barriers in his way and doing politics against him. Manoj Tiwary, who represented India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), lashed out at MS Dhoni first and now he slammed former cricketer and commentator Gautam Gambhir.
Diving in the past, when Gambhir and Tiwary rubbed shoulders during a Ranji Trophy match at Firoz Shah Kotla, now Arun Jaitley Stadium, Tiwary alleged that the latter had threatened him saying "Meet me out side".

"Tu bahar mil match ke baad, ((Meet me after the match) and aaj tu gaya (you are finished today)?" Manoj Tiwary revealed during a conversation with Sports Now.
However, nothing ever happened and both of them became close friends when they were representing KKR together.
"That is why I said it is my biggest regret because we were very close at one point in time. While playing for KKR, we used to have a lot of discussions and brainstorm over who to pick in Kolkata. The relationship was such that we used to go into details and inputs. But things did not pan out the way that they should have," Tiwary said.
He added "The fight I had with Gambhir that day is the only regret I have because people who know me will tell you that I am not that sort of a person who goes out there and quarrels with seniors. It is one of those memories that I could have avoided. I have a good relationship with my seniors, but due to one incident, it spoilt my image."
