Mark Wood's Fiery Bouncer Hits Rohit Sharma Face-On, Video Goes Viral From India Vs England Rajkot Test

Ooh...! Echoed at the Rajkot cricket stadium on Thursday during the third test when a fiery bouncer from England pacer Mark Wood rocked at the helmet grill of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. The incident took place during the 10-over on Day 1 when a surprised bouncer by Wood hit Rohit front-on.

However, the English pacer was quick to check Rohit Sharma, whether he was fine or not.

The video clip of the fierce bouncer is doing round the internet and fans loved the rising standards of test cricket between India and England.

Rohit Sharma scored a power-ton (131 runs off 196 balls) studded with 14 rolling boundaries and 3 towering sixes. Ravindra Jadeja also completed his hundred to take the total above 300-mark. Debutant Sarfraz Khan too showed some good hands to score his maiden half-century (62).

Team India lost three wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rajat Patidar cheaply in the first session of the day. The match also marks 100 Test feat for English captain Ben Stokes. At the toss, Stokes said, "Time flies when you're having fun."

Currently, both teams have one point each in their kitty in the five-match series and eyeing to square their lead.

Skipper Rohit Sharma made four changes for the Raipur test giving Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel their first chance. Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja also returned to the side in place of Virat Kohli and injured KL Rahul.

Team India won the Hyderabad test by 104 runs against England.
