Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma showcased their batting prowess, relentlessly targeting the Lucknow Super Giants bowling attack with their aggressive play.
'I'm at a loss for words': KL Rahul
Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul expressed his astonishment after witnessing the 'unreal batting' display by Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. Rahul praised the Sunrisers Hyderabad opening duo for their exceptional six-hitting skills, noting that they dominated the second innings without giving the visitors any chance.
"I am at a loss for words. We have seen such batting on TV, but this was unreal. Every shot seemed to find the middle of the bat. Credit to their skills. They have really worked hard on their ability to hit sixes," said KL Rahul.
"They did not allow us to gauge the pitch in the second innings. It was tough to contain them as they started attacking from the first ball."
Following their defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants' chances of making it to the playoffs have been jeopardized as they slipped to sixth place with six wins and as many losses. The KL Rahul-led side needs to secure victories against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians to secure a top-four finish in the league stage.
