KL Rahul And Sanju Samson To Be Dropped For Champions Trophy 2025? Read What Rohit Sharma Wants
If reports doing round the internet are to be believed then Indian skipper Rohit Sharma may make big changes in India's squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. According to a report, Rohit Sharma is not happy with the Indian team's performance in the series against Sri Lanka, and may now drop some big names as he is eyeing the Champion's Trophy slated to be held in Pakistan. Two wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul and Sanju Samson, who failed to impress in the recent series, may face an axe, said report.
However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has not yet cleared their stance on whether Team India will travel to Pakistan or not. It was learned that the Men in Blue may play their matches in other locations like Sri Lanka or UAE.

Earlier, after the series loss, Rohit Sharma made it clear that "We need to think which players could play on these kind of tracks and who can not."
He also added that "consistent chances need to be given to some players."
"We have to accept where all we made mistakes. We couldn't show more intent and aggression against spinners, and they put pressure relentlessly on us," the skipper had said.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Rohit Sharma wants to give Rishabh Pant a certain number of matches to have a regular wicketkeeper in the team, instead of experimenting ahead of the big tournament.
KL Rahul and Sanju Samson's Recent Outing:
Kannadiga KL Rahul and Malyali Star Sanju Samson presented a flop show when they were given chances against Sri Lanka. In the T20 series, Sanju Samson got out for a duck twice, while in the ODI series, KL Rahul's comeback chance went in vain as he could not open up his account.
Their flop shows have become a big cause of worry for Team India and captain Rohit Sharma.
