Karnataka's Brian Lara: Prakhar Chaturvedi Scores Unbeaten 404 In Cooch Behar Trophy
In the Cooch Behar Trophy, Karnataka's young talent Prakhar Chaturvedi on Monday achieved an astonishing milestone by scoring 404 runs against Mumbai. The young cricketer powered Karnataka to pin a massive total of 890 runs on the scoreboard at the KSCA Navule Stadium. In his impressive 404 run inning, Prakhar slammed 46 boundaries and 3 massive sixes before Karnataka declared its inning in the four-day game.
Out of 636 balls faced, Prakhar played 419 dot balls. He struck 400 runs at a strike rate of 63.

Thanks to Prakhar's skillful knock, Karnataka marked a 510-run lead in the first innings over Mumbai on the last day of the match, and both teams decided to settle for a draw.
Interestingly, in the same match, India head coach Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid also featured scoring 22 runs off 46 balls.
Prakhar's inning made fans recall the iconic 664-run partnership between Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli in 1988. The duo represented Shardhashram Vidyamandir and created the record for the highest partnership for any wicket in any class of cricket.
Tendulkar had scored an unbeaten 326, while Kambli notched 349 runs not out.
At the international level, West Indies batting legend Brian Lara holds the record of scoring 400 runs against England at St John's. Since that remarkable achievement, no other batsman globally has surpassed the 400-run milestone in Test cricket.
