ISPL 2024: Bigg Boss 17 Winner Munawar Faruqui Gets Sachin Tendulkar's Wicket, Watch How He Celebrated

Sachin Tendulkar, a name that was not less than any nightmare for bowlers in world cricket as he collected a mountain of runs in ODI and Test cricket. The numbers and a bag full of records prove that Sachin was one of the best cricketers in the world. It was a dream for many top bowlers to get Sachin's wicket at least once in his career. But the same was done by a 32-year-old rookie.

It was a complete silence in the stadium when Sachin Tendulkar departed. Everyone was numb for a couple of seconds. But then there was a young guy celebrating and cheering the best moment of his life. He was Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui. Though it was a fun match, but getting Sachin out is not an ordinary thing.

It was Munawar's life's one of the best moments that happened on Wednesday evening during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) match, a T10 cricket tournament, which features Bollywood celebrities and cricketers for charity matches.

Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kareen Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and of course, Munawar Faruqui, who picked up THE SACHIN TENDULKAR's wicket are part of ISPL.

Former cricketers like Robin Uthappa, Akshay Kumar, Suresh Raina, and others are also participating in the celebrity league.

While batting on a personal score of 30, Sachin Tendulkar top-edged a loose ball going down the leg stump by Faruqui and was caught by the short third-man.

"Complete silence in the stadium," the commentator said on Sachin Tendulkar's dismissal.

For the unversed, Munawar Faruqui recently won the 17 edition of TV reality show Big Boss, hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Munawar surpassed Abhishek in the finale and got a Rs 50 lakh cash prize along with a glittering trophy. Before featuring in BigBoss, Munawar was popular for his poetry and stand-up comedy. He has a massive fan following that helped him in winning the show.
