IPL Auction 2024: How Much Money Is Left In Purse For IPL Teams, Cricketers To Watch Out For
Ten franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) are all set to lock horns to clinch the glittering trophy. The enthralling tournament is expected to commence on March 23, 2024, however, the official announcement by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to be announced. But before the cash-rich league, all ten participating teams namely Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders will buy 77 players out of a pool of 333 cricketers to represent their sides.
The franchise owners will be helped by former cricketers like Sourav Ganguly, Kumar Sangakkara, Andy Flower, Ashish Nehra, Gautam Gambhir, Sanjay Bangarand, and others along with their business managers to offer whooping deals. In the last edition, English cricketer Sam Curran grabbed a gigantic deal of Rs 15.8 crore to join Punjab Kings owned by Bollywood actor Preity Zinta.
