IPL 2025: Sai Sudharsan's relentless practice, discipline and boundless energy set him apart
Sai Sudharsan isn't just another batter riding a wave of good form. Every run he scores for Gujarat Titans in the ongoing IPL 2025 season is the result of tireless work, discipline, and a deep love for the craft.
According to Paras Anand, CEO of Sanspareils Greenlands (SG), it's this very ethic that sets Sai apart. "Sai's commitment to batting is relentless. He's constantly looking to improve, to fine-tune every aspect of his game - and that's what makes him such a phenomenon in Indian cricket," says Anand.

Sai Sudharsan Isn't Chasing Form - He's Building It
Sai's rise is not just about talent - it's about the hours no one sees, the quiet discipline, and a mindset that refuses to settle. "The Gujarat Titans would schedule their practice sessions at 6:30 pm," reveals Paras Anand.
"But Sai doesn't like to sit indoors all day. Instead, he reaches out to a nearby cricket academy and heads thereby 4:30 pm, well ahead of team practice. He faces quality fast bowlers and spinners, bats for nearly two hours, and then joins the GT camp like nothing happened."
Extra Hours, No Spotlight
It's this extra effort - this unseen grind - that separates the good from the great. For Sai, practice isn't a routine. It's a lifestyle. Even after hours of training on his own, Sai's energy doesn't dip when he joins the Titans camp. In fact, that's when he truly switches gears.
Practice, Then More Practice
"Sai comes into the GT nets and wants to get in immediately," says Paras, his face lighting up. "He finally gets his turn around 7:30 and then just keeps going often well past nine o'clock."
Shadow Reps While Others Hit the Gym
It's not just about getting better. And when others head to the gym after the session? "He's still at it," Paras smiles. "By the time he's done on the field and the team hits the gym, he's doing half an hour of shadow practice - even there."
Now we know why Sai is scoring those runs. He isn't chasing form - he's building it!
