A piece of good news arrived for Mumbai Indians fans on Sunday as star pacer Jaspit Bumrah cleared his rehab and is all set to join the squad now. Mumbai Indians, which is facing a tough time in on-going Indian Premier League aka IPL 2025, may get a boost in the bowling department as Jasprit Bumrah comes with a bag full of experience and wicket-taking ability, specially his unplayable Yorkers.
Jasprit Bumrah was away from cricket since January 2025 after he got injured during the Sydney Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He injured his back fielding near the boundary rope during India vs Australia crucial test.

With Bumrah's return, franchise owners would expect an injection of new energy and morale boost in the side. The speedster has been associated with the Mumbai Indians since 2013 and played over 133 matches to topple 165 wickets.

While the information of Jasprit Bumrah's fitness and perfect health has surfaced over the internet, it is still not clear whether he will play against RCB on April 7 or not. If he still doesn't play, then there are realistic chances of Bumrah making IPL 2025 debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 17.
SRH all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is also excited to face world's number 1 bowler. He told media, "I would be grateful for the challenge. He is one of the best bowlers in the world right now, and facing him would be an exciting contest. If I manage to score some runs against him, I would be very happy.
