IPL 2024 GT vs RR: Shubman Gill's Mic Drop Response Leaves Harsha Bhogle Stunned, Watch Video

The Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals match was a spectacular battle between two powerful sides in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) that entertained the fans to its best. Titans broke Rajasthan's winning streak by handing over a 3-wicket defeat.

Skipper Shubman Gill led the team from the front and kept the foundation of the team's victory by playing a superb 72-run knock. While, Afghan all-rounder Rashid Khan was named player of the match for his unbeaten match-winning 24-run inning and a wicket.

For Rajasthan, captain Sanju Samson (68) and Riyan Parag (76) played heroics to pin 196 runs, however, the bowlers failed to save the total.

Though, winning and losing is part of the game, but something unusual happened during the post-match conference.

During the conversation, commentator Harsha Bhogle said "Well done you got two points today. But one must admit that some of us thought you left it too late but well done today", to which, Shubman Gill did not reply and dropped the mic stating "Thank you, when GT is playing don't think like that".

The young captain's response stunned the senior commentator, who had no more to say. Still, Bhogle with an embarrassing smile stated that "he will keep that in mind" when Gill was walking back.

Before Gill's shocking reply to Harsha, the cricketer lauded his senior colleague Rashid Khan for powering the team and clinching two more points. Sharing the finishing plan, Gill said the team had decided to score 45 in 3 overs, which was a gettable goal. Each batter had to score 22 runs off 9 balls, and if they get it, it becomes easy to achieve the big total.

Gill added that he would have loved to finish the game along with Rashid Khan, but he is happy that the team won at the end and "Rashid bhai finished the job for the team".

Rashid Khan is such a player who you always want in your team, highlighting that the last-ball victory is always special.
