India vs Bangladesh Chennai Test: R Ashwin's Wife Posts Special Message For Cricketer
Ravichandran Ashwin's wife, Prithi Narayanan, shared a heartfelt message as the Indian cricket team gears up for the home season. India faces Bangladesh in the first Test match at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai starting September 19. Ahead of the match, BCCI has arranged a pre-series camp at the same venue.
Prithi posted a picture of R Ashwin in India's training jersey on Instagram with the caption, "Chennai, Test match feelings are coming. Right?"
The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, has started preparations for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium. The series opener is set for September 19, marking the beginning of India's home season.

India's New Coaching Staff
This series will be India's first under head coach Gambhir and his new support staff. Former South African fast-bowler Morne Morkel has joined as the new bowling coach. The BCCI shared pictures of the team huddle on its 'X' account with the caption, "The countdown starts as #TeamIndia begin their preps for an exciting home season."
Key players like Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav, and KL Rahul arrived in Chennai on Thursday night to join the camp.
Bangladesh Team's Arrival
The Bangladesh team, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, is scheduled to arrive in Chennai on September 15. They will have four days to acclimatise before the first Test begins.
Following the conclusion of the first Test in Chennai on September 23, the second Test will be held at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27 to October 1.
World Test Championship Context
Both matches are part of the ongoing 2023-2025 World Test Championship cycle. India currently leads the table with 68.52 percentage points while Bangladesh stands fourth with 45.83 percentage points.
The upcoming series promises to be an exciting start to India's home season under new leadership and coaching staff.
