Their childhood coach, Jitendra Singh, recently revealed how the brothers have stood by him like family, extending financial and emotional support worth nearly ₹70-80 lakh over the years.

A Family-Like Bond

The bond goes beyond cricket. In 2018, when Jitendra's first sister got married, the Pandya brothers ensured the wedding was smooth by taking care of expenses. Years later, during his second sister's marriage in February 2024, they once again stepped in-transferring ₹20 lakh for a car and offering other gifts.

Hardik, known for his straightforward warmth, once told Jitendra: "Your sister is my sister." True to his word, he kept every promise, ensuring the family had nothing to worry about.

Gestures of Care

Jitendra also recalled how Hardik, fresh from the 2015-16 Australia tour, surprised him with a car worth ₹5-6 lakh. Despite not being financially strong at the time, Hardik insisted the coach stop using a bike to avoid accidents. With Krunal's persuasion, Jitendra accepted the heartfelt gift.

Their compassion extended to tougher times too. When Jitendra's mother fell seriously ill, Hardik offered him every rupee he had for treatment. That moment, Jitendra says, cemented their lifelong relationship.
