Gautam Gambhir To Be Next India Head Coach; Bids Adieu To Kolkata Knight Rider
Former Indian cricketer and member of the 2007 and 2011 World Cup winning teams, Gautam Gambhir is all set to take over as Team India's New Head Coach. According to reports, Gautam Gambhir's name has been finalised and BCCI officials may make the big announcement anytime soon. The big update arrived a day after Gautam Gambhir bid adieu to IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and a video of his farewell is doing round the internet.
To step into Rahul Dravid's boots, who directed T20 World Cup 2024 winning team, Gautam Gambhir and WV Raman gave interviews and it has been learned from sources that Gautam Gambhir has clinched the job.

Rahul Dravid's contract was till the T20 World Cup 2024, held in the USA and West Indies, and currently, the post is vacant. It was also learned that Gautam Gambhir's name for the Team India Head Coach is likely to be announced after India's Zimbabwe series.
Not just cricket lovers, his competitor for the Head Coach's job WV Raman had also praised the left-hander when he was questioned about the perfect candidate to replace Rahul Gandhi.
"I've always rated Gautam Gambhir as one of the best captains in the IPL. He's always been intense and tactically sound. His success comes purely from his own efforts. He is committed to cricket and does not try to conform to others' expectations. If he takes up the India role, I wish him all the very best," Raman had told the media.
