Drake Bets ₹6.41 Crore On RCB To Win IPL 2025 Final, Eyes ₹11.11 Crore Payout: 'Ee Sala Cup Namde'

Canadian rapper Drake has made headlines by placing an eye-watering $750,000 (roughly ₹6.41 crore) bet on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to secure their first-ever Indian Premier League (IPL) title, just hours ahead of the much-anticipated final against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Taking to Instagram, Drake shared a screenshot of his wager via the cryptocurrency betting platform Stake, declaring his support for RCB to lift the trophy.

With odds of 1.75, the rapper stands to win over $1.3 million (around ₹11.11 crore) should Virat Kohli's side emerge victorious.

The post also featured RCB's iconic slogan, "Ee Sala Cup Namde", catching many of his fans-especially in North America, where cricket enjoys limited popularity-by surprise.

RCB, captained by Rajat Patidar, are hoping to clinch their first IPL crown since the tournament's inception in 2008.

They face a determined PBKS outfit led by Shreyas Iyer, who are also hunting for a maiden title. Tonight's final marks the first time in three years that a new champion will be crowned in the IPL.

The final is expected to fuel a global surge in betting activity, with estimates suggesting that wagers exceeding $1 billion have been placed across various platforms over the course of the IPL season.
