CPL 2024 LIVE Streaming Details: The 12th edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is to begin on August 29. The opening match will feature Antigua and Barbados Falcons against Saint Lucia Kings.

After a brief hiatus following the Hundred, another franchise league is ready to commence in the Caribbean. Known as the 'biggest party in sport,' the CPL returns for its 12th season. This year, a new team, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (ABF) replaces the now-defunct Jamaica Tallawahs.

Antigua & Barbuda Falcons

Most players from the Tallawahs have joined ABF, including Brandon King, Chris Green, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, and Fabian Allen. The Falcons will play their first match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Thursday, August 29 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The tournament format remains unchanged with six teams competing in 34 matches. This includes eliminators, qualifiers, and the final scheduled for October 6. Trinbago Knight Riders appear strong on paper with many top West Indies cricketers in their squad.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots

The St Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad features players like Kyle Mayers, Rilee Rossouw, Evin Lewis, Sherfane Rutherford, Sikandar Raza, Anrich Nortje, Andre Fletcher, Tristan Stubbs, Dominic Drakes, Mikyle Louis, Odean Smith, Joshua da Silva, Veerasammy Permaul, Ryan John, Ashmead Nedd, Johann Layne and Tabraiz Shamsi.

Matches will start at 4:30 AM IST. On double-header days, the first game begins at 7:30 PM IST followed by another at 4:30 AM IST. Star Sports channels will broadcast live matches on TV while Fancode app and website will stream all CPL games live.
