After Virat Kohli, Paparazzi Spots Gautam Gambhir Unhappy With Umpire, Argues Over Decision

Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) has been full of entertainment with nail-biting matches and enthralling encounters. But when it comes to Gautam Gambhir's KKR vs Virat Kohli's RCB clash, controversies are mandatory. However, this time players did not lock horns with each other but marked their objection against the umpire's decision.

At first, Virat Kohli argued with the umpire over his dismissal on Harshit Rana's waist-height full toss, later unhappy Gautam Gambhir was spotted in a heated conversation with the fourth umpire.

In the 19 over of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's inning, when the match was at a crucial stage, Kolkata Knight Riders' skipper Shreyas Iyer made some signals towards the dugout as he was trying to convey a message. Soon after that, KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir and head coach Chandrakant Pandit had an argument with the fourth umpire.

Later, it was discovered that Suniel Narayan, who was not able to stand properly as he was in pain after a speedy delivery struck his toe in the first inning, wanted to rest and go off the field, but was denied by the on-field umpire.

At the post conversation, the KKR skipper said, "It takes a lot off your body and drains you out completely because you go through so many emotions. It's tough to stay calm but I'm elated. We got two points on the board and that's all that matters. It's extremely tough when the pressure is on, I feel that every individual should put their hands up and take the responsibility."

"Russell did that by picking up two wickets and completely changed the game in our favor, that kind of attitude is needed in the team. It's a funny game, when you need 18 runs off 6 balls, the pressure is on the bowler. One six here and there, it completely changes the momentum. It is important that we maintain our calmness and stay in the present and make the batter hit where you want them to hit," he added.
