The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in collaboration with ISTE, has launched the AICTE-ISTE Induction/Refresher Programme Scheme. Its main goal is to support AICTE-approved technical institutions and universities by providing financial assistance to organise training for their teaching faculty.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Institutions and university departments must be AICTE approved and offering technical education.
  2. The coordinator for the program must be a full-time regular faculty member with proven experience in teaching and research, including publications.
  3. A maximum of two proposals can be submitted by any single institute in a year.
  4. Institutes that have conducted at least one self-financing program in the last 12 months will be preferred.
  5. ISTE charges a processing fee of ₹1,500/- per proposal. Proposals are accepted only after this fee is paid via RTGS/NEFT.

  1. Obtain an offer letter from ISTE for conducting the Induction/Refresher Programme.
  2. Submit an acceptance letter to ISTE in response to their offer.
  3. Prepare a detailed schedule for the training programme.
  4. Compile a list of invited resource persons, including their full addresses and contact details, along with their topics.
  5. Collect a list of participants who attended the programme.
  6. Gather copies of the question paper and participant performance records for any tests conducted.
  7. Collect a minimum of five photographs and a pen drive/CD of selected training sessions.
  8. Compile a list of participants.
  9. Collect feedback from participants, ensuring it includes their signatures.
  10. Take and collect at least five photographs of the event.
  11. Submit supporting bills, documents, and paid vouchers for all expenses incurred.
  12. Prepare and submit two hard copies of the programme proceedings in a bound format.
  13. Ensure all submitted documents are counter-signed by the Programme Coordinator.
  14. Provide a copy of the question papers used during the programme.
  15. Submit a copy of the results of any tests conducted.

Note: The University/Institution must submit documents for the first installment release within 15 days of receiving the Offer Letter. Documents for the second installment release should be submitted by the end of one month after the event concludes.
