Eligibility Criteria

  1. You must be a genuine resident of Haryana state.
  2. You should be an ex-serviceman or the widow of an ex-serviceman, and be 60 years of age or older.
  3. Ex-servicemen (Havildar rank and below) must be facing financial hardship, with an annual income from all sources not exceeding ₹2,00,000.
  4. You must not be currently receiving any pension, financial aid, or maintenance allowance from any department of the Central or State Government, or any body controlled by them.
  5. Individuals discharged from service due to misconduct or inefficiency, as per specific service rules, are not eligible. Their widows are also ineligible.
  6. Widows of ex-servicemen who were discharged for inefficiency or misconduct are also not eligible for this financial aid.

Important Notes:

  • If you are found to be receiving an old age pension or any other financial help from another government source after your application is sanctioned, you will be permanently disqualified from all welfare schemes managed by the Rajya Zila Sainik Boards in Haryana.
  • Beneficiaries must submit proof of survival verification annually in April. Failure to do so will lead to the stoppage of financial assistance.
  • Beneficiaries whose financial assistance was already sanctioned before these guidelines were issued will continue to receive aid at the enhanced rates without needing to reapply.
