    Eligibility Criteria

    1. You must be a dependent child of a State/UTs Police Personnel who was martyred during terror or Naxal attacks.
    2. You should be pursuing a first professional degree in fields such as Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.Sc (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA, or MCA. Your course should be recognized by government bodies like AICTE, MCI, or UGC.
    3. For New Applicants: You need at least 60% marks in your Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) – this could be 10+2, Diploma, or Graduation.
    4. For Renewal Applicants: You must pass each academic year of your course with a minimum of 50% marks.
    5. There is a grace period of one year if you face delays in submitting your renewal application.
    6. The scholarship is limited to a maximum of two children per family.
    7. Marital status does not affect your eligibility.
    8. Only first-degree professional courses are covered. Integrated courses like BA+B.Ed are not eligible, but B.Ed is. For integrated ME/M.Tech/M.Pharma, the scholarship is for 3-4 years.
    9. Wards admitted to the second year of a degree course via lateral entry after a Diploma are eligible.
