    Who Can Apply?

    To be eligible for this fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:

    1. You must be an Indian citizen working in an Indian institution.
    2. You should hold an M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S., or MBBS/BDS/ MVSc./ M.Sc./ M.Pharma/ M.Tech degree, or an equivalent qualification with a Ph.D. in a health or medical research-related field.
    3. You need to have at least three years of experience as a regular employee in your current college or institute.
    4. Your age should be below 45 years as of the application deadline.
    5. You should not have received any fellowship for one month or longer from any Indian government agency (central or state) for the same research topic previously.
    6. The fellowship duration is fixed at 6 to 12 months and is non-transferable.
