Note:The grant shall be used for manpower, equipment, travel (including international), contingency, etc. It needs to be utilized as per the norms of the Host Institute. Items purchased out of the contingency grant will be the property of the Host Institute after the completion of tenure. However, in certain listed items, their retention by the awardee will be decided in accordance with the existing government rules and regulations on the subject.

Documents Required

For Spouse Pension (in case of beneficiary's death):

  • Original or self-attested copy of the deceased beneficiary's death certificate.
  • Documentary proof showing the deceased beneficiary was receiving artist pension.
  • Legal heir certificate (prescribed proforma) and an affidavit from SDM or 1st Class Magistrate.
  • Self-attested copy of the spouse's Digital Life Certificate (DLC) from Jeevan Pramaan Portal.
  • Self-attested copy of the spouse's latest Income Certificate (Annexure-II(A)/Annexure-II(B)) from the concerned authority.
  • Self-attested copy of the spouse's Aadhaar Card.
  • Self-attested copy of spouse's address proof document.
  • An undertaking confirming no financial assistance is being received from other schemes for the same purpose.
  • Bank Authorization Letter (Annexure-IV).
