  • A concessional rate of interest of 0.5% less than the normal rate is charged for units promoted by Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Differently abled persons.

Only non-commercial contributions as part of CSR will be considered.
    • Employment of Sportspersons and Sports Welfare Measures: The organisation should have recruited at least 50 sportspersons within the last three years.
    • Sports for Development: Eligibility is limited to NGOs that have been actively working for sports promotion and development for at least the last three years.

    Eligibility of Nominating Agencies:

    • Recognised National Sports Federations, Indian Olympic Association, Industry Chambers (FICCI, ASSOCHAM, CII), State Governments, Sports Authority of India.
    • Sports control/promotion boards of government organisations (e.g., All India Police Sports Control Board, Army Sports Control Board, Railway Sports Promotion Board, etc.).
    • Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.

    Organisations can also apply directly to the Government. The Government reserves the right to nominate deserving entities even if no nomination is received from the prescribed agencies. Please note that any form of canvassing for an entry will lead to disqualification.
